Legislative Advocacy Committee |
|
The purpose of the Legislative Advocacy
Committee is to advocate and support legislation, policies and principles
which improve the quality and delivery of health and human services to the
citizens of Sarasota County. The Committee is committed to a non-partisan
stance and encourages state and local policy makers to utilize the Community
Alliance as a resource on all health and human services issues. Information
regarding the status of health and human services in the community is made
to the Sarasota Board of County Commissioners, city councils and the local
legislative delegation routinely throughout the year.
